SFD glowed at the 34th International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS)

The 34th International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) took place at Chicago's McCormick Place during September 9 to 14, 2024. As the leading manufacturing technology event globally, IMTS serves as a crucial platform for industry innovation and facilitates international collaboration among manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers. The six-day exhibition featured four expansive halls, hosting over 2,000 exhibitors and attracting nearly one million professional visitors. The event provided an opportunity to explore the future trends and infinite possibilities of the manufacturing industry.

OUR HISTORY

SF Diamond has a large composite super-hard material R&D and manufacturing facility in China.

1997—2002

Foundation
• Established HENAN SIFANG SUPER HARD MATERIAL CO.,LTD
• Started R&D program for PCD wire die blanks
• Launched PCD wire die blanks
• Obtained ISO 9001 certification

2002—2006

Early Growth
• Set up the first SFD plant
• Introduced PDC cutters for Oil & Gas drill bits
• Introduced PDC cutters for mining bits
• Introduced PCD/PCBN blanks for cutting tools

2007—2011

High Speed Development
• Built a second, much larger manufacturing plant with 10X increase in production capacity
• Changed the company name to SF Diamond Co.,Ltd.
• Listed on the Chinese (Shenzhen) stock exchange
● Obtained ISO 14001 certification & OHSAS18001 certification

2013

SFD’s mid-to-high PDC cutter products,which are with high impact resistance and high wear resistance,are identified as famous brand products in HENAN Province.

2015

SFD’s 3D PDC cutter was successfully developed. It braked through the conventional cutter and further improved the drilling efficiency of deep and hard rock formations with a multi-blade profiled structure.

2017

SFD celebrated its 20th anniversary.

2019

SFD’s PCBN cutting tool blanks were successfully developed,and they are well-known for both dimensions and performance.

2020

SFD’s 75mm large diameter PCD cutting tool blanks were successfully developed, based on domestic cubic high pressure apparatus technology.
